Visit Our Fellowship!
We start off with coffee and donuts at 10:15 before our main service at 11, so we invite you to worship with us one Sunday morning. Don’t worry about a thing. We will welcome you at the door with some information.
Dress casual—or dress up. It’s all up to you. What you wear isn’t what’s important here.
Sunday morning at Crossing Fellowship starts with a contemporary music service. Children 11 years old or younger are invited to Crossing Kids.
Once you’ve visited us on a Sunday, you can find out more about our weekday gatherings and groups. We look forward to meeting you!
Our Core Beliefs
God
There is one and only one living God. He is a spiritual and personal being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. He is all-loving, all wise and all powerful.
Gen. 1:1, John 4:24
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the son of God; co-equal with the father. Jesus lived a sinless human life. He offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all by dying on a cross. After three days, He rose again, demonstrating His power over sin and death.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Philippians 2:5-11
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in this world to make people aware of their need for Jesus. He lives in Christians from the moment of salvation, providing them with the power for living and guidance to do what is right.
John 16:7-13, Galatians 5:22-25
Bible
The Word is inspired of God and written by men. It contains no error and it reveals the plans and purpose God has for our lives.
2 Timothy 3:16, Psalms 119:105
The Church
The church is a growing group of believers put together by the spirit of God to carry out His great commandment.
Matthew 22:37-40, Ephesians 5:23-27
Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God, not something that can be earned. It has been freely offered to us by the death of Christ.
Romans 5:8-9, Romans 6:23
Grace
Grace is the unmerited favor of God and it shows us His goodness.
Ephesians 2:8-9, 4:30
Baptism
Baptism is an outward confession of our faith of an inward change that occurs in the life of the believer.
Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4
The Lord's Supper
Communion is a memorial service where we remember Christ’s sacrifice. The bread and the cup are symbols of his broken body and the blood he shed which were given for salvation.
Luke 22:19-20
Humanity
Men and women were created by a special work of God in His image and are the finest of all His creations. They were created innocent, with free choice, and they sinned against God and fell from their original state.
Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23
Our Core Values
We value people
We believe people matter to God; therefore, they matter to us. God demonstrated the high value He places on people when He gave His very best, His SON Jesus, to provide the gift of salvation.
John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Luke 15:7 & 10
We value application of scripture
Teaching is to discover life-changing principles. We believe the bible is God’s word to our world. Therefore we must practice the life changing principles we discover. God gave us His word in order to equip us and change us for His glory and benefit.
Psalms 1, James 1:22-25, Luke 6:46, Psalms 119:11
We value authentic community
We believe real authenticity is best described as openness with others about our strengths and weakness.
Acts 2:44-47, Romans 7, Colossians 4:5
We value relevance
Although our methods will change, our message will not. We believe the bible is the most exciting book ever written, and we seek to share its good news in relevant environments. We create appropriate environments for growth for kids, youth and adults.
1 Corinthians 9:22, 2 Corinthians 11:2
We value service
Every member is a minister. We believe God has equipped every Disciple with gifts and passions so they can become difference makers for Jesus. We will encourage everyone to use and develop their gifts and talents in service to our fellowship, community and the world.
1 Peter 4:10, Romans 12: 6-8, Ephesians 4:11-13
